Peace and reconciliation. While easy to say as a goal, as a reality it remains one of humanity’s enduring challenges.

Here and overseas, our members strive each day to bring our world a little closer to these critical goals. Their work includes:

• Removing landmines after the soldiers have left and helping victims cope with the loss of limbs
• Engaging urban youth in ways that strengthen family and community
• Standing with those whose liberties are being denied
• Teaching and using non-violence to bring about enduring change
• Addressing the causes and consequences of collapsing nation states
• Encouraging philanthropy
• Continuing the struggle to diminish the risk of nuclear war
• And much much more.
